NI have it on sale already at the same price as the Live, sale started yesterday over here.Ĭool! I just found out that PSSL has a 17% off special running, the MPC Live can be purchased for apprx. will probably put it on sale again to compete with the MPC Live or do the Machine/Komplete Bundle thing.Īaaah sorry, I am in the UK, the LIve is way cheaper here and is less money than Maschine Studio. Last year Maschine Studio was even on sale for a while for ($799).

This is a market that NI can not compete in anymore.Īctually the MPC Live ($1199) is $200 more than Machine Studio ($999). NI wont have a standalone, they are extremely slow at developing anyway, they are currently working on the arranger/audio tracks for Maschine, there are two options now with NI, they can choose to boost development of Maschine when the MPCs are released or they can remove Maschine development again like they admit to doing for over three years, I would expect the late to be honest, they can't compete with the MPC at this point (If the MPCs work) the Live is cheaper than Maschine Studio so sales of that are going to dry up, the MKII was already on its final legs anyway, so i suspect within 12-18 months it will be just Jam left on the market, and that will end up being supported by Traktor or dying off too.
